One-of-a-kind Fine Art Teddy Bears designed and created by Mary Ann Racheau. Mary Ann’s extensive background in the entertainment field lends a distinct look to the teddy bear characters that she creates.
Mary Ann has over 30 years of experience in costume and fashion design and construction for some of the world’s most famous Las Vegas shows. In the past, Mary Ann spent 8 years as a Costume and Shoe Technician for Cirque du Soleil’s KA'. Her background includes 14 years as the Lead Seamstress for the Siegfried & Roy Show and 6 years as the Costumier for Nevada Dance Theatre, Nevada Opera Theatre, the Mickey Finn Show and various Las Vegas productions.
Mary Ann's unique work has been featured in newspapers, on TV and in collectible magazines. She was asked to create 2 of the Broadway Cares Bears. The bears represented the Broadway shows, Ain't Misbehavin' and Sugar Babies and were signed by Mickey Rooney, Ann Miller and Nel Carter. She has created boxer character dolls for Leon Spinks and Larry Holmes. One of Mary Ann's show bears honored Liberace and was shown in the Liberace Museum next to the famous Fabergé Egg costume that it represented.

The glitz, the glamor and the love of the stage are captured in each of these one-of-a-kind theatrical bears.
All of the "Vegas Teddies" and "Teddy Cats" are 5 way jointed using discs and cotter pins. Each is completely hand made with glass eyes, embroidered nose and mouth and are filled with Poly/fil stuffing. Each soft sculpture character is embellished in its' own whimsical style.
A Certificate of Authenticity accompanies each Vegas Teddy and Teddy Cat.
Brocade
This lovely 14" bear is created using blue and gold brocade. She is fully jointed with glass eyes, embroidered nose and mouth.
Brocade is adorned with an ostrich feather boa fascinator and has blue glass beading down her back. Her paw pads are gold lame'.
